Editorial policy

How this site makes money, and what it will never do.

The governing rule: nothing a provider pays for is ever visible to a family.

That means, permanently:

• No promoted placement. No provider can pay to appear higher, larger, or first.
• No lead generation. We never sell a family’s contact information to anyone.
• No referral fees from providers. Not once, not as a thank-you, not as a discount.
• No provider-supplied marketing copy or photos on listings. Listings show facts we collected, with sources and dates.
• Claiming a listing is free, exists only to correct facts, and never affects ranking or presentation.

How we collect prices. We identify ourselves honestly in every collection. No mystery shopping. Automated collection runs with an honest user agent and a contact address, respects robots.txt, and rate-limits politely. Every price on this site traces to a dated source document you can see.

How the site makes money. Aggregate market data may be licensed to organizations that never appear in listings (insurers, manufacturers, analysts). Any business revenue is disclosed here as it exists.
